A lot of High Notes 5 investors have been getting a one page letter from DBS informing them that their cases have been reviewed and no compensation is forthcoming.

DBS mentioned that they have started to compensate "vulnerable investor".
Bullsh1t.
My mother more than 62yr,
was never DBS treasure customer,
never invested before,
no CDP account,
only saving account,
lost life saving,
never attended school,
got conned when going to put FD,
Follow MAS advice,
Lodge complaint immedaitely.
Attended interview weeks ago.
No news since then.
Only got value = 0 letter.
Same letter as mentioned that says they will get back to us within 21 working days.Why can't they keep such a simple promise?
What compensation are they talking about?
What first priority for vulnerable group?
What understand about anxiety of investor?
What is Gerald Ee doing? He even say he is glad that DBS has informed him that they have started compensating.
They compensate who?
Gerald Ee? MAS?
Lip service again.
It is just so fustrating for the whole family.
Only can seek comfort when at Hong Lim Park.
Every authority is sueing the bank except ours.
We are definitely going to end all banking relationship with DBS.
We are definitely not going to trust any men in white again.

Both my husband and I received a letter from DBS dated 28 October 2008 indicating that the Notice on Credit Event Redemption Amount for High Notes 5 is zero.
I have made a complaint thru the phone (62255577) and email
(consumers@mas.gov.sg) to MAS regarding the outright std rejection letters from DBS. I hope those of you who have recd the rejection letter will do same.
